How can I join FILSA?
To be a general member, you can send us your uOttawa email at the bottom of the home page.
Joining FILSA as a Committee member requires you to fill out the form on the Join A Committee page.
Do you have to be an uOttawa student to join?
No. We welcome anyone who are interested in learning about the Filipino culture and meeting likeminded individuals.
How much does it cost to join an event?
The cost on each event varies due the food and drinks provided and the price is listed under the events page. The first event of every semester is FREE!
What is the dress code?
The dress code is dependent on the event and is listed under the details of each event on the event page.
Is this an allergy-free environment?
Unfortunately, we can't guarantee that our events will be completely allergen-free but all ingredients of the food will be listed at the event.
